Common Questions

I have answers.

How do I know which service is right for me?

That's a great question — and one I'm happy to help you answer. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so I can learn about your situation and recommend the best fit.

Do you accept insurance?

Picket Fence Counseling is self-pay and considered out of network with insurance providers. I do offer a sliding scale and can provide a superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Are telehealth sessions available?

Absolutely. I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for all of my services — so you can get support from wherever feels most comfortable.

How long does therapy typically take?

Every journey is different. Some clients find meaningful progress in 8–12 sessions; others prefer ongoing support. I’ll work with you to set goals and check in on your progress regularly.

Not sure where to start?

That's completely okay. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation and I'll help you find the right fit — no pressure, no commitment.
